London Georgian Apartment

Two large flats in this stucco-fronted Georgian property were lovingly combined to create a stunning London home. It required great sensitivity and expertise to design a kitchen to sit within this exceptional interior scheme.

Studio Mae transformed two derelict flats into a grand, two-storey, Parisian Art Deco inspired home designed to elevate wellness and calm by using sustainably-sourced, non-toxic finishes and fittings. The stand-out features include French handmade plasterwork and naturally-smoked oak chevron flooring. In the kitchen too beautiful, natural materials are celebrated, with the elegant furniture placed in two symmetrical, linear runs either side of the slender island. Precious creamy quartz is used for the worktop and splashback to reflect light from the wall-to-floor windows and myriad of reflective surfaces, including the polished chrome handles. The kitchen furniture is hand painted in Martin Moore's custom-made "Lime White" paint.
