Having admired the grand, timber framed houses whilst in Nantucket, our clients sought to replicate this charming style for their own home, and the location of their project, set in within a wide stretch of land leading down to the sea, proved ideal.
By managing the building project from the very beginning it allowed our clients to create their dream home and a custom open-plan space where family and friends can cook, dine, gather and relax. This personal involvement can be seen in many ways, including the siting of the hob on the island to allow conversation whilst cooking, and the placement of the sink under the mantel with a mirrored glass splashback to enable further interaction. The bespoke walk-in pantry, utility, boot room and dressing room provide beautifully crafted order.
