Built to take full advantage of its spectacular alpine setting, this Swiss mountain home was designed as a year-round retreat for family and friends. Our clients wanted a kitchen, bar and wine room that celebrated British craftsmanship while allowing the breathtaking views to remain the focal point. Inspired by the changing landscape beyond the windows, from snow-covered peaks to summer greenery and dramatic sunsets, we created a series of elegant spaces that feel intrinsically connected to their surroundings.
The kitchen, from our New Classic collection, features hand painted cabinetry in Palest Slate with Spring Grey on the island and dresser, paired with polished granite showcasing flowing brown, green and cream veining that echoes the colours of the mountains beyond. Washed oak interiors, bespoke bench seating and a New Deco dining table bring warmth and texture. On the floor below the bar and climatically controlled wine room, inspired by our English collection, provide a sophisticated setting for entertaining. With Ink Blue cabinetry, bronze detailing and dramatic leathered granite, these welcoming spaces are perfectly suited to both après-ski gatherings and summer celebrations by the pool terrace.
